Herpes simplex virus 3 (HSV 3)
This virus causes chicken pox. It’s also led to herpes zoster or shingles when this virus reoccurs. In some cases, HSV3 stays dormant forever and doesn’t cause any signs. But sometimes, it can be caused more serious problems. This virus maybe not spread to another people who have this disease already, but it can be passed to another person who hasn’t gotten the vaccine or hasn’t had chicken pox. It also occurs in the old and children who have weak immune function. When having this virus, you will have some symptoms that can realize this illness. The first time, you will have a headache and flu. After that, you can feel pain, itching in a certain area and the initial skin rash can be appeared after 2 days or several weeks. Herpes simplex virus 4 (HSV 4)
This virus is the major cause of mononucleosis. It’s also called kissing disease. HSV 4 can be spread through saliva. It means that you can have this virus when kissing with other people have it already. Or even when you sharing your eating utensil, coughing or sneezing as well. Once you have this virus, you will feel tired, fever, sore throat, loss of appetite, and stomachache. Herpes simplex virus 5 (HSV 5)
This virus is also knows as cytomegalovirus (CMV). It’s the cause of mononucleosis. It can be spread by having sex, saliva, blood transfusions or breast-feeding, and cause problems to newborns and can lead to hepatitis. For people have healthy immune systems, they don’t have any symptoms while it causes a lot of signs for people have weak immune function. CMV infection can be one of the most complex complications of AIDS. When getting this virus, you can feel fever, muscle aches, sore throat, fatigue and loss of appetite. The symptoms also depend on parts of the body, so you may feel chest pain, headaches and cough.
Herpes simplex virus 6 (HSV 6)
HSV6 is the cause of roseola and usually occur in children who have weak immune systems. This virus exists in the blood cells and cause some symptoms in children. When this virus enter the body, children will have high fever, tiredness, loss of appetite and appear skin rash in the body. Once these symptoms occur, parents should let children drink more water.
Herpes simplex virus 7 (HSV 7)
This virus is closely related to HSV6. So it’ also the cause of roseola but it isn’t clearly what other virus causes. HSV 7 causes some symptoms for people get it such as tired, high fever, loss of appetite and having rash in the skin. Although this disease can go away by itself, you have to use drug in some cases.
Herpes simplex virus 8 (HSV 8)
This virus has been found in the tumors that is called Kaposi’s Sarcoma. These tumors are found in people with ADIS and really difficult to treat. HSV 8 can lead to other cancers and occur in people who have weak immune systems like people with AIDS.
